About Us
Hi, I’m Jordan!
Founder
I’m a trainee therapist and have spent years working with children and young people with SEND, supporting a wide range of needs and ages. I started my journey at 16 years old - which is where I found my real passion of supporting the wellbeing needs of young people with SEND. I still love every minute of the work I do.
However, it was my previous experience working as a mental health co-ordinator, where I really saw first hand the neglect of mental health support for young people with autism. During my time, I successfully secured our Mental health programme in Warrington Youth Zones’ SEND session and wellbeing programme in specialist schools, aswell as delivering it.
I have noticed the real gap in services for young people with SEND, especially when it comes to wellbeing and mental health. And too often, their needs are overlooked or not fully understood.
That’s why I created SEND Sensory & Wellbeing Hub.
Hi, I’m Tash!
SEND Tutor
I am the private tutor for The SEND Sensory & Wellbeing Hub. I started my journey by gaining a degree in primary teaching, with a specialism in SEND.
From this, my career began becoming a youth worker and this is where I really fell in love with working with young people. Alongside this, I am now a 1-1 and group tutor at Warrington Youth Zone, teaching Maths & English.
Through my experience, I have worked closely with young people with a range of different needs and abilities, and have seen how important the right support and environment can be when it comes to both learning and confidence. Everyone deserves a right to an education, in a way that best suits them.
We adapt to each young person, offering a relaxed approach. Our main core goal is building that relationship and trust first, and then this is where the progress will start to happen.
